Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is a classic, well-studied autologous therapy based on injection of platelet-rich plasma prepared from the patient’s own blood.

PRP mechanism of action

  • high platelet concentration,
  • release of growth factors (PDGF, TGF-β, VEGF),
  • stimulation of fibroblasts to produce collagen,
  • improved microcirculation and cellular metabolism.

Clinical effects of PRP

  • improved skin tone and elasticity,
  • smoothing of fine wrinkles,
  • revitalization of facial, neck and decolletage skin,
  • support of anti-aging and regenerative therapies.

PRP is often referred to as a “vampire lift,” but in clinical practice it is a physiological regenerative therapy rather than a mechanical lifting procedure.
